About the Speaker
David Segleau
Director of Technical Product Marketing
David Segleau is Director of Technical Product Marketing at Couchbase. A 30-year veteran of the database industry, David previously spent over 8 years in senior product management roles at Oracle. Most recently, he was product lead for Oracle NoSQL Database, Oracle Berkeley DB, and Oracle Database Mobile Server products. Before that, he was VP Engineering at Sleepycat (the company behind Berkeley DB), and held senior technical roles at Informix, Illustra, and Versata. David started his career as a developer in the oil and gas industry.
