Kyle has led GFS’ Data Engineering team for the past 2.5 years. As part of the organizational goal of becoming an Insights Driven Organization, Kyle’s team set out to build their revolutionary Data Platform to enable access and analysis of all enterprise data. By partnering with both Google and Qlik, they have been able to build real time, streaming data pipelines into GCP.
Tom Majeski
Information Technology Manager, Data Services, Gordon Food Service
Tom is an experienced technology leader with a broad range of experiences with recent interests including cloud and data. Three years ago he led an effort to research and develop a successful operational metrics concept hosted on GCP utilizing Qlik Replicate. Today, his Data Services team manages a robust Replicate installation with various endpoints including Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and SAP S4 Hana.
Adam Mayer
Senior Manager, Technical Product Marketing, Qlik
Adam is on The Global Product Marketing team at Qlik, covering the entire Qlik product portfolio. He is responsible delivering the company’s Internet of Things (IoT) and GDPR go-to-market strategy. With a strong technical background in computing, underpinned by an incisive engineering perspective, Adam is an avid follower of new technology and holds a deep fascination of all things IoT, particularly on the data analytics side and finding new ways to make it as translatable, visual and understandable to as many people as possible. Adam is passionate about the space and believes that IoT data needs to be approached with an open mind, rather than looking for an answer. It needs to be interacted with for hidden insights and gems that organizations might not have thought about looking for. He has over 20 years of B2B customer facing experience within the IT and automotive sectors, having previously held positions at Canon, Sony,Tevo, Fujitsu and Toshiba.

Eric Thorsen has 20 years of experience in Retail, Tech, and SAP in varying formats. He spent nearly 15 years with SAP, focused on Technology, Retail/CPG, and Account management. Following that he entered the SAP ecosystem in ML/AI, Big Data, and Supply Chain. It all comes together here at Google, where he and his team assist customers to truly innovate with SAP on Google Cloud.
