DATAVERSITY Education, LLC announced the launch of a new Data Governance conference and opened the Call for Presentations this week. DG Vision will be held December 9-12, 2019, at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. Proposals must be received by May 17 in order to be considered. The four-day event will feature a comprehensive educational program focused on Data Governance and Data Stewardship, covering everything from Data Quality and Metadata Management to data sharing, privacy, and new regulations.
“DG Vision is the first of DATAVERSITY’s Data Governance conferences to be located in Washington, D.C., so we’re excited by the opportunities for speakers, topics, and attendance that will come from being in the power hub of the nation’s capital,” says DATAVERSITY CEO and Program Chair Tony Shaw. “As with all of our educational programs, the emphasis will be on peer-to-peer sharing of practical experiences through case studies, plus world-class experts providing in-depth tutorials and workshops.”
The conference committee seeks proposals for 60-minute conference sessions and panel discussions, full-day seminars, three-hour tutorials and workshops, 30-minute keynote presentations, and five-minute “lightning” talks.
