Did you know? We’ve partnered with Ippon Technologies to launch Data Sips, a video miniseries showcasing quick conversations with industry experts that took place during last month’s Data Governance & Information Quality (DGIQ) Conference in Washington, D.C. The first episode features DATAVERSITY founder and CEO Tony Shaw chatting with host Steve MacLauchlan, head of data at Ippon. (Steve also hosts a longer version of the series called The Data Pour, where he sits down with data professionals over drinks.)
In the interview, Tony shares a brief history of DATAVERSITY, which began hosting educational data management conferences about 25 years ago (under a different name at the time) and has since expanded into publishing articles, producing webinars, and offering online training in data governance, quality, strategy, CDMP preparation, data literacy, and more.
