Nathan Vega, Vice President, Product Marketing & Strategy at Protegrity

Nathan Vega serves as the vice president of product marketing and strategy at Protegrity. He is a marketing leader with a proven record of bringing platforms, applications, and SaaS offerings to market through go-to-market strategies that achieve revenue targets. Nathan has extensive experience as a product marketer and product manager, specializing in cybersecurity and advanced analytics market identification, product definition, and buyer targeting strategies. As a leader, is a collaborative program manager that has built and led a variety of teams including professional services, marketing, business development, product management, and design.   

Prior to Protegrity, Nathan started his career at IBM, where he built skills and took on a wide variety of roles over 15 years. Before leaving IBM, Nathan was an Offering Manager working on IBM’s cloud platform, Bluemix, where he successfully brought Watson to market as a set of APIs. He started as a JAVA Developer, building infrastructure for WebSphere Portal Server. He continued to build new skills across various roles, including Premium Support Manager, Program Manager, and First Line Manager.   

Nathan holds an Executive MBA from The Ohio State University and a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Cincinnati.
