Michele Iurillo is a renowned Italian consultant, journalist, and writer specialized in data management, data governance, and agile methodologies. With an established track record in business intelligence over the last 15 years, he has worked on the implementation of data strategies in various organizations. He is currently country manager of Irion in Spain and Latam, leading the expansion and adoption of advanced data management solutions in the region.
He is a founding member of DAMA Spain, a member of DAMA Italy and currently holds the position of Vice President of DAMA Spain and is a member of the Board, actively contributing to the development of the data management discipline in the Spanish-speaking world. He holds multiple CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional) certifications, which endorse his experience and knowledge in data management.
He is also the founder of the Data Management Summit (DMS), a benchmark event in the world of data management, which brings together industry experts and leaders to share knowledge, trends, and best practices.
