Gil Dabah, CEO and Co-Founder at Piiano
Gil Dabah is the CEO and co-founder of the leading data protection and privacy company Piiano. His last company, NorthBit, was acquired by MagicLeap and became its product security division. He and his fellow co-founder then found themselves leading MagicLeap’s software security lifecycle globally, overseeing 700 engineers. This experience gave him first-hand insight into how hard it is to practically shift security and privacy left when developers are already at capacity meeting other business needs. In building Piiano, Gil is looking to bridge privacy capabilities organization-wide to ease the lives of developers, enable governance for CISOs and CPOs, and finally keep sensitive data secure.
