Carlos Cruz, Director of Research and Technical Studies, DAMA Brazil Chapter
Carlos Cruz has a master’s degree (M.sc) in information technology management for competitiveness from FGV EAESP and a postgraduate in strategic business management from the Brazilian Capital Market Institute (IBMEC). He graduated in technology and database from the Faculty of Informatics and Administration Paulista (FIAP), and he is certified by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Artificial Intelligence for Business Strategy, and by Stanford University in ML and DL.
With 18 years of experience, Carlos specializes in strategy and consulting services, technology, architecture, data strategy, artificial intelligence, and cloud solutions.
He has worked on several transformational programs, especially in the financial services, technology, and consulting sectors, both in Latin America and the U.S. He worked on the development and leadership of multidisciplinary teams in the development and implementation of digital platforms and business solutions based on cloud computing, data, analytics AI, ML, DL, generative AI, NLP, LLM, and automation.
