According to a new press release, “Alteryx, Inc., a leader in self-service data analytics, today announced it is collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to virtualize the Alteryx Server platform and offer its robust data prep, blending and analytics solution in the cloud. Organizations can now quickly deploy Alteryx Server through AWS Marketplace as an on-demand, pay-as-you-go option. This collaboration builds on the existing integration of Alteryx with Amazon Redshift, and support for Amazon Aurora and Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), empowering analysts to quickly consume big data and deliver key business insights.”
Bob Laurent, Vice President of Product Marketing at Alteryx, commented, “Modern organizations are finding significant benefits by moving the consumption of analytics to the cloud… Our collaboration with Amazon Web Services allows organizations to deploy our Alteryx Server platform in the cloud within minutes, while maintaining the enterprise-class security and scalability of our popular on-premises solution. This gives organizations a choice for how they want to quickly share critical business insights with others in their organization.”
The release goes on, “Alteryx Server allows organizations to deploy and share analytics at scale, giving employees access to critical information so they can make data-driven decisions. Data analysts use Alteryx Designer to build repeatable workflows that prep, blend and analyze data, and can publish these workflows as analytical apps to Alteryx Server. Employees can browse the apps they have permission to run, and customize and execute these packaged workflows on demand, without having to disrupt the data analyst who originally created it.”
