As we approach the end of another year, we here at DATAVERSITY have been busy analyzing our data and answering the big questions: What was the most popular content on our website and training center over the past 12 months? Which data management topics did you – our readers and students – seek out again and again? Which industry professionals guided you in growing your knowledge, and which courses helped you take the next step in your career?
This year, we continued to focus on expanding our educational opportunities, hosting numerous Demo Days (our version of a virtual exhibit hall) and live online webinars. In our training center, we offered more live online master classes and on-demand learning plans than ever before, exploring hot topics like generative AI and data ethics.
Read on for our top 20 articles and blog posts published in 2024, plus a few other fun lists, including our most beloved webinars, in-depth courses, and podcast episodes with data professionals.
There’s a wide variety of content to scroll through here – from the impact of bad data to selecting a data governance operating model to developing a data literacy program. As usual, the topics of data quality and governance ranked high, as more organizations attempt to balance data access with data privacy, security, and ethics in the fast-paced data-driven world.
What do you think? Did you love the topics we covered this year? Anything you’d like to see more of (or less of!) in the coming year? Please share with us!
Note: While the live online training classes listed below all happened in 2024, we included links to courses that will be back by popular demand in 2025.
