Kavitha Mariappan, Chief Marketing Officer, Split Software
Kavitha Mariappan is the chief marketing officer at Split, responsible for leading the marketing strategy, growth, and communications. Mariappan brings over 20 years of experience in high technology marketing to Split, with domain expertise ranging from Big Data Analytics, enterprise software, Cloud storage, to application performance and delivery. Prior to Split, Mariappan was at Databricks, where she was vice president of marketing responsible for developing the company’s brand and go-to-market strategy from the ground up, executing a demand generation program that grew customer count from zero to nearly 500 in two years, in addition to cultivating and scaling the open source Apache Spark community with grass roots level community marketing efforts. Other executive experience includes leading marketing at Maginatics, Riverbed, and eleven years at Cisco in product management and engineering leadership roles.
