Ravi Shankar is a recognized luminary in the data management field, and has more than 25 years of experience in the enterprise software industry driving product marketing, demand generation, field marketing, communications, social marketing, customer advocacy, partner and solutions marketing. Ravi has a rare combination of proven marketing leadership and product management, business development, and software development expertise within both large and emerging leaders such as Oracle, Informatica, and Siperian.
Before joining Denodo, Ravi was the Vice President of Product Marketing at Informatica, and was instrumental in positioning the company as a leader in the Master Data Management market. He helped accelerate MDM revenue and customer acquisition, and propel Informatica into a $1B company. He also launched major initiatives such as Informatica MDM Day, which grew to become the second largest customer event within the company. While at Siperian, Ravi played a key role in increasing the company’s growth and its successful acquisition by Informatica.
