A new article out of the company reports, “Neo Technology, creator of the world’s leading graph database, Neo4j, announced its first-ever Neo4j Certification for professionals. With the significant growth in deployments of Neo4j by enterprise customers across all industries worldwide, technology enthusiasts can now gain certification to prove their Neo4j expertise. The exam is offered online through Neo4j’s GraphAcademy, which also provides other innovative and flexible training and tutorial options. ‘The demand for engineers with Neo4j skills is growing tremendously,’ said Emil Eifrem, Neo Technology’s CEO and co-founder. ‘This certification is a direct response to the widespread adoption of graph databases and the increasing importance employers are placing on Neo4j expertise’.”
The article goes on, “The exam consists of 80 questions that must be answered within 60 minutes. Student must obtain a score of 80 percent or higher in order to become Neo4j certified. The exam questions span these areas: Graph database basics; The specifics of the property graph model; Cypher syntax, including semantics for data import, creation and querying; Application development with Neo4j; Graph data modeling problems; Neo4j in production, including clustering, backups and monitoring.”
