Before joining Basho, he was VP of Sales and Services at Acunu where he built a global sales and services organization to support its emergence as a leader in real-time, big data analytics, and founded Big Data London, one of the largest big data communities in Europe. Marchal also held senior executive management roles at LikeCube (acquired by Time Out), Tideway Systems (acquired by BMC Software), Atos and Schlumberger.
